Dorset Youth Association improves the quality of life for children and young people and their families in Dorset. At least 6,000 children and young people benefit from our services each year. Our programme of informal education, positive participation and volunteering promote personal and social development. We enable our beneficiaries to reach their full potential and become valued members of society.

At the heart of the Association is a commitment to deliver infrastructure support to voluntary youth workers and clubs across Dorset. On average 60 clubs and groups benefit from a wide range of support including Free child protection and safeguarding, CRB clearances, First Aid training, Health and Safety and Governance.

The Association ensures that equal opportunities are available to all children and young people and that diversity is celebrated.
