Michael RogersI live in Lytchett Matravers with my partner and have 2 grown up daughters. My working life as a police officer started with 12 years’ service in Herefordshire prior to moving to Dorset Police for the past 18 years.

I currently work in the specialist operations department of Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police Strategic Alliance where I specialise in contingency planning and operational planning. I am responsible for resource management across the two forces.

In my spare time I also support the Pilgrims Bandit Charity, bringing support, help and adventure to injured personnel from both the Armed and Emergency services. I recently pedal cycled the length of New Zealand with this charity and war amputee veterans.

When time allows I am a keen walker and kayaker!
