Support for clubs and groups is at the heart of Dorset Youth Association. We are here to provide support to the youth club leaders and supporters.
Support to youth club leaders includes advice and guidance on running a safe and fun youth club, providing skills through training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Health & Safety. We are here to provide help with starting a club, writing a constitution and community engagement, and provide ongoing support through club affiliation.
Once affiliated, our members have access to a dedicated project worker during working hours, with visits to clubs and groups during club opening times. Clubs and groups also have access to over 25 template documents and resources on the website which are constantly being added to. We can also support clubs to achieve a nationally recognised Quality Mark through UKYouth, please see below for more details.
