They’ve helped me with housing meetings and viewings and have given me the knowledge and confidence to go by myself. I now know what I’m looking for and the right questions to ask” The centre provides a safe place for young people to gain information on services available to them. For many young people the advice and guidance Routes offers is invaluable as due to their circumstances they may not have had access to other services or agencies. "I was so angry and frustrated and couldn't make head or tail of what I needed to do to get help. Speaking to Routes really helped me to understand what I needed to do and it got results. I now have a safe home in supported accommodation." The hard work of Routes has been recognised by many organisations such as Charminster WI and Sainsbury’s who have both supported and donated money. Sainsbury's have further supported Routes by awarding them ‘Best Local Charity’ for two years running in 2013 and 2014. The young people that visit Routes get the support they need to turn their lives around.
