Location: The Reef Youth Club Colehill & Wimborne Youth & Community Centre Ltd, Colehill Lane, Colehill, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 7AB

Employment type: Part Time – contract ends 31st August 2025

Hours of work:  Term time only - evenings and some weekends

  • Leader In Charge: 9 Hours Per Week
  • Youth Support Worker: 6 Hours Per Week

Salary: paid in monthly instalments

  • Leader In Charge: £11.46 per hour
  • Youth Support Worker: £10.67 per hour

What is the role?

  • Youth club and street based
  • Delivering youth club provision, 1:1 youth work support, programmes and targeted work
  • Designing, leading and delivering group work, programmes, creative activities and running youth club sessions
  • Working alongside experienced and motivated colleagues and partners
  • Working collaboratively with partners

Who we’re looking for:

Dorset Youth Association (DYA) is working in partnership with Colehill & Wimborne Youth & Community Centre Ltd to provide youth work in Wimborne. Although not essential we are keen to hear from candidates with experience and knowledge of establishing new and successful provision for young people. We are looking for someone who can build on the successful partnerships already established within the area, as well as establishing new partnerships.
